Hi,
this is the owner of DSLreports.com, Justin Beech. If you are writing a story about DSL, or DSL system security, then I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Since I live online, please contact me initially by email, and I will phone you or return email, as you wish.

DSLreports.com is based out of New York City, just up from 'Silicon Alley', I started the site alone back in June 1999, due to the frustration I felt trying to get broadband for my home. Although I worked on Wall Street as a systems administrator and had spent years in many cities doing trading-room networking, the task of finding the right DSL provider beat me. When something is hard and costly, what do you do? yep, you start a website! both to help others, and to allow the better DSL providers to stand up and be seen.

Initially hosted on my own DSL line, traffic soon grew to the point where it required the headroom of a webhosting facility, and I'm now on the lookout for the right people to join in who can help me continue to fill requests from users for new features, and cope with explosive growth in page views.

DSLreports has received coverage in Newsweek magazine, PC Magazine, NY Times, ZDNet anchor desk, Investors Business Daily, Wall Street Journal, Metro newspapers, and many other web zines and sites.

Now I get hundreds of emails a day, and try to read and answer as many of them as I can.. I also read countless postings and reviews.. this maybe gives me a unique view of how the DSL industry is meeting consumer and small-business expectations (or it maybe just means I have a full inbox).

Thanks for reading.
