Rumor has it that George Lucas has changed his mind once again regarding the proposed title for the third installment (or sixth depending on how you look at it) of Star Wars. The previous idea would have been "Rise of the Empire", which sounds appropriate. Now Lucas wants to change that to "The Creeping Fear." What the heck is that? Sounds more like a slogan for a laxative commercial than a Star Wars movie.

George has been batting zero on Star Wars titles through this entire set of "prequel" movies. And I thought it couldn't get any worse than "Attack of the Clones."

On a crowded train in Tokyo recently, I counted 16 adults in one compartment alone reading mangas--Japanese comic books. Standing or sitting, all were engrossed in their picture-novels.
