Conversely, Charter Communications operates cable systems all throughout the Cerritos area with a lone system in Northern California. The two companies have decided to make an exchange so that their networks are concentrated in the same area. Customers in both areas may find that service is disrupted during the switch which is supposed to take place in 1-2 months. Disruption may include different channels, required email address changes and interruption of service for phone customers.
