We installed an Earthlink T1 line here because we FTP large audio files back and forth across the country. We had a 3000/512 DSL from SBC (AT&T) but the uploads were SLOOOOOWWW!. So, we called Earthlink and got a full T1 from them for $399.00 a month. It's very fast-incredibly low latency, and uploads now fly by. We also use the T1 for in house web browsing and never seem to have any speed problems. We kept the DSL for back up, but will cancel it after it's required year is up. Though it offers twice the download bandwidth, I find myself always using the T1 line because it's latency is so good compared to the DSL.
