Unfortunately didn't have any choice for high-speed apart from Cable from Time Warner, or satellite, which was too expensive at basically twice the price, though I'd have preferred it for just the TV.
Not exactly what was envisioned by competition and choice I'm guessing from 96 telcom reform law. A choice between two un-palatable alternatives is not really choice at all, and when your business success appears to be predicated on guaranteeing that lack of choice (high termination fees, long lock-in periods on contracts, etc.), no wonder the industry as a whole has such customer relations problems.
