    DSL service has been very good. However, their recent (Sept 08) conversion from in house mail servers
    to Google's gmail has not been smooth for some, and downright annoying for others.

    Not to mention that now Google has more victims for their smarmy data mining and mail scanning tools.

    This is, of course, my opinion. For what that is worth. And yes, I am one of the annoyed.

    I have been a dslextreme dial-up customer for several years
    with minimal problems until recently. I was requested to
    increase password a few weeks ago for an upcoming change to
    google base, and for the past two weeks haven't been able to access my mail. What goes?
