| Same Issues
Funny, I had the exact same experience when I tried to switch from SBC/ATT to DSLE last week - sync-no-surf. Except, mine took 4 days to resolve, including a useless Telco dispatch to my house to check the lines... turned out to be a problem at the DCO (they never turned up my number even though they claimed they did!). I can't blame DSLE for the problem as it was strictly an ATT issue, but since they are now acting as the middle man, they should have been able to force the resolution with ATT before the Telco dispatch.
DSLE was very helpful, but hard to get a hold of. It finally took an IM to the online tech at BBR to get the issues resolved (Thanks Aldo!!). Once you are able to contact someone, DSLE really does put in a lot of effort to resolve your problems and make sure you are happy with the results.
My current speeds are the same as I had with SBC ~ 1236 down/316up, however my pings to yahoo also seem slow ~ avg. 41ms as compared to SBC 13ms.
DSLE service is much much much better than talking to "Mike" in India reading from a script. | |
