I switched from AT&T/Yahoo to DSLExtreme about 1 month ago. My contract with AT&T expired and that left me free to finally explore other options. I had read good things about DSLExtreme and decided to give them a try.

So far there have been no major problems. My line was switched over on the day is was supposed to be and I only saw about 2 hours of downtime. Speed tests all show that I am getting the speed that I am paying for which is good.

I also like the fact that I now have a full range of newsgroups to browse as well. A while back AT&T decided to prune some of the more "questionable" groups from their servers and that kind of irritated me. So now I have access to all of those groups and more now.

I have not had to deal with tech support so I can't speak as to how they deal with customers. But I have used the dedicated forum here at DSLr to ask questions of the staff and have gotten answers to all of them that way.

customer service

These people are great. They get on and stay on a problem until it is solved, and really go the extra mile.
After ATT Yahoo (and dealing with customer service people
in far-away lands) this is a real relief.
