I phoned DSLExtreme, got technical support, and they carried me, step by
step, through a reenabling of my local area network. I was told the IP
address would have to be replaced, taking a maximum of 24 hours. Within
an hour or so my DSL service was restored.
This was very satisfactorily handled.
