I've had service with Webband since 56K dialup days, and have had an excellent time even then..even leaving the modem connected for a whole weekend on accident and never got disconnected.

In 2005 I got 1.5M DSL using Webband as a 3rd-party ISP for Qwest DSL, and have had almost no issues. Prompt service, low prices, and nice guys on the Tech team. It took about 3-5 days to switch from 56K to the 1.5M, most of that being the Qwest provisioning and modem send-out time.

I had a billing issue at one time with Webband, and they did credit me for several months of the messed time because it was their system that had misplaced me during a changeover on billing systems, which was nice that they rectified it.

I have the 7/896 package aka "Premier Price for Life" held over from a Qwest PFL deal...now CenturyLink.

The ISP pricing of $19.95 does not include CL's charges, which for me for 7M DSL is approx. $32/mo.

They also offer the Premier speeds, which goes up to 7M tops if you qualify. They also offer web training classes, email/web-mail with Spam/AV filtering, and more.

Total with a promo package I got:

CL: 32.00
Webband: Premier Price for Life 19.95
-----------------------------
7M DSL (train is 768 Rx Rate 7168) = $ 51.95 Total

But, for that extra cash I get good solid local service and they know me by name, not a voicemail.

Support Phone: 509-688-2550, 208-292-5250 or 866-WEBBAND

They also offer wireless and "accelerated dialup", but I haven't used those services.

They are the consumer ISP wing of TierPoint, the "Premier Regional Business Continuity Data Center of the Inland Northwest."

They also are the Master Contractor for Business Continuity Services for the Washington State Department of Information Services and all of its agencies

»www.tierpoint.com/ is the URL for them.
