Pretty good option versus Comcast cable in this area. Centurylink is more reliable and provides better service.

Dishonorable Business Practices?

Second time I have written this--first time it disappeared into the ether, I guess. Perhaps someone can help me to understand why I pay $24.95 for the privilege of receiving "CenturyLink Packages." Then there is $15.69 for "Loal Services," $21.97 for the "free Long Distance Service," and finally $29.75 for the 3mg "Internet Services." What is the "Packages" charge all about? I have tried to talk to them, but all I get is double talk along with double billing. So I pay over $90.00 a month for Century Link Services. Does anyone know of where I can find services cheaper?

You better check why you pay that much with Centurylink. What it goes for something cheaper you need to look around where you live.Maybe dial-up will be cheaper

be careful with cable one. They will tack additional charges if you exceed "Data Limits."

Centurylink

Reliability stinks! Been out 3 days in the past week. They get it going about 10PM, and it's dead by 10 AM the next day.

They said they would have this problem fixed by the end of July. Then it was the end of August, then the end of September. Now they're telling me it will be mid-October. SURE....
