I moved to my new apartment at the beginning of November and had telephone, Prism TV and DSL installed. The install was smooth and the installers were great. The phone and the internet service work as they should, however the Prism TV service didn't work so well.

The HD picture quality was not very good and the service would pixelate and freeze. Overall I think Prism is a good product, but I feel it needs to mature more and the bugs need to be worked out. I'll give it a try again in a couple years. I have since switched to DirecTV.

I have the 10Mbps internet service and I get the advertised speed pretty much all the time.

My landline service works as advertised as well. All in all my dealings with CenturyLink have been very pleasant.

AVOID You get your speed until 8pm

I have had nonstop problems with centurylink. If you are curious about them as a providor, search f*** centurylink... Many people are unhappy with them. I pay for 6mbps and have gotten .1 at 8-11pm. Seriously consider alternatives and avoid them at all costs.

Re: AVOID You get your speed until 8pm

I've used the DSL service at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm during the week and on the weekend and no .1 speeds... the slowest speed I've gotten on a speed test was 7Mbps. Haven't experienced any much latency either.

I'll update this review if I find that I'm experiencing issues with the DSL service.
