I wanted to update a previous review, but couldn't find it. Maybe it's been too long. Long story short, I had 7 mb down 768 k up DSL. Problem was that my RT was really oversubscribed, and from 6-9 PM I'd drop to around 2mb. After raising some fuss and writing letters, Qwest (at that time) switched me over to their new IP-DSL, and I signed up for 12/5. That was two years ago, and it's been rock solid ever since, no matter what time of day or night, even prime time. SNR above 30, attenuation very low. I estimate about 1000 feet from the RT along the street where the utility lines would run. I know I'm pretty lucky, and I hope it stays that way! member for 15.1 years, 23 visits, last login: 5 years ago updated 11.9 years ago |
