In the earliest days of Century's DSL, it was a stinking nightmare. DIY install was virtually impossible, since you couldn't get it to sync without a tech dispatch.
I worked for a company that sold it.
Today, it's much better. most installs go smoothly, and speeds are as stated.
Location is a big deal... 10/.75 is their top speed around here... 6/.5 3/.5 and 1.5/.25 are the others. It's not that fast.
They've been dropping prices lately and guaranteeing no increases for 5 years... that's nice, but you're already behind the speed curve. If the 1.5 speed is ok for you, it's 20$ a month. If you really need speed, go somewhere else.
