Being in a rural area its difficult finding broadband providers. Thankfully I am able to get the 20/896 tier of VDSL2 from CenturyLink. CenturyLink ran line tests and determined I am unable to qualify for higher upstream speeds which is a disappointment, but I understand the limits of the technology. Ordering was easy on CenturyLink website. Installation was slightly delayed due to aerial installation work but went smoothly. Received a Q1000 modem from the tech. Line is very stable with 1 or two retrains a month for 10-20 secs each which is not a problem. Receiving advertised speeds at all times even during peak usage times. Ping hovers around 45ms with 1-2ms jitter. Overall I am receiving what I am paying for and have minimal issues.
