"Internet where ever I am, faster than dial up in all Sprint PCS areas, In EVDO areas it is really fast!"

    THIS IS A REVIEW FOR SPRINT PCS (POWER VISION) HSI NOT EMBARQ.....IT WAS INCORRECTLY FILED DUE TO THE THE FACT THERE IS NO SPRINT PCS/NEXTEL PROVIDER TO REVIEW ON BBR.....

    I have been using this for about two weeks and I am extremely satisfied. Support can get quite annoying at times but if you keep on it eventually things will get straightened out (sometimes right away...sometimes not). Right now I live in a 1xRTT area so I only get about 120Kbps down and 60 Kbps up.....we are in an area that Sprint is planning to roll out EVDO service for so a few months and I will have true broadband!

    One annoying part of the install was that the phone did not come with the software so I had to go over to a friends house to download the software from Sprint's site before I could get online.....other than that the set up was very simple!

    One last thing a major benefit of going with Sprint is their TOS! They are the most lax of any wireless provider.....their TOS reads exactly like what you would expect from a standard wireline provider so when they say UNLIMITED they mean it!

    Incorrect review... this is for Sprint PCS EVDO service

    This review shouldn't be filed under Embarq. It is actually concerning Sprint PCS EVDO/1XRTT wireless service - not DSL. Embarq is not part of Sprint anymore and is unrelated to the wireless service being reviewed.

    Ok... But you should put a clarification in the body of your review to make it clear you're talking about SprintPCS wireless service. No where is it explained that you're talking about a cellular based service. Most of the folks that come looking at reviews will just think "1XRTT" is some other kind of DSL and will miss that you're not actually talking about Embarq.

    I'll mention to one of the mods that we're missing categories for both SprintPCS/Nextel and Verizon Wireless.
