    So I was relocated by my company to Las vegas and had a friend staying with me who needed the internet so bad that he signed up with Cox for Perfered basic and High speed internet. The internet was alright but was shaky and dropped quite often.

    I didn't want to sign up for Cox so I gave a call to embarq orginally just for DSL service (Hoping for Naked DSL). I called on 11/28/07 and as of today 11/30/07 I'm up and running on my DSL service thanks to UPS and the wonderful shipping they do here in Vegas. My basic phone service was hooked up the very next day 11/29/07 a whole hour before the guy was even supposed to show up!

    Tomorrow I will be getting my Dish Service installed (If i have clear line of sight) and if that works my complete package will be installed in roughly 3 days, this is amazing for a phone company let alone any other business. When my friend tried to order Cox they said tough luck to him and he had to wait a full week and a half.

    So far am getting my advertised speeds and am very happy with the service thus far. Hopefully Dish will work and i'll not have to worry about Cox Service. I'll update this tomorrow when I find out .

    For $91 /mo its a great value in my book.

    Installer came out yesterday and I can not get the Sat. TV service. Called up and no issues about it. Thus far loving the DSL service im getting my line rated speed and my pings are great! I updated the prices and such.
