    totally unreliable. never know whether it will be working or if it does what speed i might get. endured a 12+ hour outage yesterday and speed is currently 10% of what i am paying for. at this point i don't think i could recommend embarq to anyone for dsl. unfortunately don't have much choice here.

    i have been having latency issues for a while...all will be good for a few days then out of no where i have like a .02 meg DL but up load always seems to be consistent around 660 to 740 up...but its so hard to get it cleared up with Tech support..and I am away from home during the work week then home on the weekend not a whole lot of time to be messing around for 2 or 3 hours on the phone with tech support. i dont know guess i'll wait and see whats going to happen this time...i really might switch to suddenlink this round. take care and good luck.

    All of east texas is in bandwidth exhaust due to two trunks which are at 100% capacity and can't handle anymore traffic. I'm a gamer and an employee and feel it to. Were waiting on a new trunk to open up, turn up date has been set as july 8th although I've heard rumors of trouble and might be pushed back a week or 2 just can't get the facts. But that is the issue I have no reason to lie about it and it will be fixed. Give it a little more time it's coming Yes I wish it would hurry to it makes me sick.

    Latency

    Same problems here on my 10 meg line, at least Embarq has discounted my bill for the downtime.
