Moving to Boston at the end of the week and wanted to keep getting DSL (currently have BA DSL in NYC), but was initially discouraged by the prices. After doing a search, my "Can I get DSL Page" was only showing services in the $80-$100 range. But after a little more research I found Phoenix, who offers 384 down at $49/ month.
Based on the positive reviews of other customers and the attention their staff appears to pay (check their responses to posts on this board) I decided to go with Phoenix. I've spoken with my sales rep Ken Kaplan a few times, and have been very favorably impressed. They were very up front about the wait time (possibly 45 days), and about the pricing plan, adn have thus far been very responsive to my inquiries. No hidden waits etc. etc. Although the wait time is inconvenient, if I can find a provider that actually cares about customer service I can hold off for a few extra days.
So the verdict thus far - thumbs up. I'll keep posting as I get further along in the process.
