    **UPDATE** 03.19.2008**
DSLR would like an update and here it is. There isn't much to comment on this time and that's a good thing! I moved connection reliability up a notch as since my last update there have been no significant outages. I think the speeds are pretty fast, slightly more than 5Mb.

    **UPDATE** 09.17.2007
DSLR wanted an update, so here it is. I still think Tech Support is pretty unfabulous. I hate when my connection is down and I have to call in and talk to someone. Sometimes I get someone who seems fairly helpful and other times, it would save me more time if I just hung up the phone and tried back.

This summer we had horrible connection issues and after a month, someone finally showed up to look around and say there was something wrong with the line in the neighborhood and it all had to be replaced. Finally someone came out and fixed it, for now.

I lowered the connection reliability from 4 to 3 because it feels like whenever I need to use my internet its down or running very slowly.

If there was another cable provider or company that offered speeds that compared with what I get here, I would switch. There are even times when I might switch to something with a lower speed in hopes of getting better connection reliability.

DSLR wanted an update, so I'd say things are peachy. Same as the last update.

    **UPDATE** 04.14.2005

BBreports wanted me to update, so here it is. I moved connection reliablity up to a 4 since I haven't had any major outages in over a year.

They might have boosted my speeed when they increased the price. Mind you the cost in service was only by a couple dollars. Looks like I'm at 5Mbps now.

    **UPDATE**02.15.2004

    Looking good.

    **UPDATE** 12.24.2003**

They came out on the 11th saying they found the problem affecting the neighborhood. They say it fixed everything, and I shouldn't experience this problem again.

So far since the 11th, there was only one outage that I experienced, and it was less than a minute before it came back on.

Is this it? Let's hope so!

    **UPDATE** 12.03.2003
Well, still having troubles. Have an appointment setup tomorrow and a tech will come out to look at it, but I really don't believe anything will be solved. I spoke with billing, and they will be crediting my bill for the last 3 months of internet troubles by 100$. Basically, with this credit it's as if the last 3 months were free.

They said to keep calling them to get credits until it's fixed. Will it ever be fixed? Dunno.

When it's working, it's working great... just wish it would work consistantly.

    **UPDATE** 09.15.2003
Here is my update, problems with Roadrunner going out every day, multiple times a day between Noon and 5. Sure, they always send a tech out, but it's on when they get here, and they say they cannot fix the problem if it's not out when they get here. Being that they only stay for about 10 minutes, they never find it out.

If there were some other broad band alternatives with this speed, I'd gladly switch, however that's not the case here. I guess they know that, and that's why they don't give a rat's *** about me and my problem.

DSLreports requested that I submit/update my review, so here it is.

I had prodigy dsl before road runner. Due to some stupid idiot over there, I'm with road runner now.

The advertised 2Mb speeds. I get 3Mb. It does go down every now and again for a few hours. I'd average once or twice per month. Other than that, I'm happy with it.
