    3000 down 384 up which I can get pretty much all of the time, almost a static ip. I have been using road runner at 4 different places over the last 4 years and have had similar experiences at each place. I've had my connection go out about 10 times over those 4 years and they generally had a tech out in 48 hours (but by that time the problem had gone away). There really is no competition that I am aware of.

    The above I wrote 4 years ago. Since then the speed has been increased to 5000 down and I'm still very happy with the service. I still get maximum bandwidth and haven't experienced more than 4 or 5 brief outages (a matter of hours) over the past 4 years. I would say I've had 99.9%+ uptime. While there are still other options there is no real competition.

    The above I wrote over a year ago. Since then the speed have been increased to 7000 down and everything is just as fast and reliable as ever.
