Update 7/24/07 - Recently went with Turbo speed RR service which is 15/768. Downloads from news servers are generally around 1.75MB/sec, so I am extremely happy. I am also paying the same price for turbo that I was for the standard service, some kind of discount that was applied to my account. Overall still happy with the service. Tech support and billing on the other hand are total nightmares, but I rarely ever speak with tech support, billing seems to be more frequent.

I've switched between cable and ADSL service a few times. Road Runner recently increased their download speeds (wish they would increase uploads too), so I decided to try it out again. The speeds are amazing, much faster than ADSL service here in Cincinnati. Ping times in games are still great, connection stays up with no major problems so far.
Road Runner currently has their speeds set at 3500 kbps down (350K/sec) and about 384 kbps up (about 38~42K/sec).
Updated 3/14/05 : I was upgraded to the faster services a couple months ago, but never updated. Was running around 600KBps down, but decided to go with the premium plan again, so I'm now getting around 955KBps sustained transfer. Still a great service!
