Currently using Roadrunner Extreme as a part of a package. Don't really need or notice the extra 15 mbps upload (I am not a gamer). Can't say that video streaming is any better than their standard package. I have had the EarthLink via TW in the past and it was quite acceptable as well. member for 22.4 years, 7488 visits, last login: 4.5 years ago updated 9.1 years ago

EarthlinkYou do realize that you will still depend on TWC for most if not all your problems? From the last mile, to billing, customer service (for the most part) and usually Tier 2 and 3 support?
Elink can't really support the modem except for basic unplug and plug back in. Other than that you get sent to the NHD at RR in Canada.

Re: Earthlinkstop being an ass and realize that you put Elink is a better option when in actually its not. It's the same service.

Re: EarthlinkApparently reading comprehension is another area of weakness for you, as my quote was "EarthLink is a better option for me".
And having had both services I think I am quite aware of the similarities and the differences. Yes they share the same infrastructure. No they are not the same. EXAMPLE: 1) EarthLink costs me $3 less a month, 2) EarthLink provided Webspace for me to host direct links to pictures when after repeated attempts, Time Warner claimed they couldn't make the simple switch from a homepage account.
