TWC has been absolutely terrible since I moved into this building. Most of my issues have been related to their video services but their internet offerings are offensive in the year 2013. Standard tier is priced about average but the speeds are sooo slow. I wouldn't mind paying for the Turbo tier but for that price I should get faster than 5MB upload. No way I would even think about paying TWC for their Ultimate or Extreme tier... that's just robbery.
UPDATE (8/3/2013)
I had FiOS installed on 7/2 and put my TWC account on hold so I could be sure about the switch. After a month on FiOS I couldn't be more happy. Internet is soooo much faster, TV picture quality is much better and I don't miss NY1 one bit.
I plan to return my TWC equipment this week and say good riddance once and for all (or at least until I move.)
