    I first considered DSL from Embarq but the speed was just not there.Originally ordered 3.5Mbps package and upgraded to 10Mbps Turbo speed. the upgrade took 15 minutes at the most.didnt have to reset surfboard modem as everything was done for me from the office. Tested my speed at Raleigh RR site and was getting about 92% of speed on download and far more on upload.Customer service has improved immensely and they are sending tech out more quickly than in the past,getting things fixed on first call. I haven't notice that speed boost that they have advertised maybe it'll kick in with the bill.LOL

    Time Warner doesn't have to compete with any here in Fayetteville but Embarq who cant begin to offer the speeds cable does so RR is not trying to offer what some larger cities with FIOS have to offer.

    powerboost give inaccurate speed test results,as boost kicks in and inflates results.

    10Mbps shows speeds up to 11Mbps.
