Still plugging along. Moved to a different town in the same region in February 2007. Everything runs wonderfully here too. After the horrendous experience for 3 years with Charter it's a breeze here!

I had TWC and Road Runner installed in mid June and I couldn't be happier. Considering that I had had Charter for over 3 years in a town about 10 miles away this is a dream.
The install was a little weird. The field survey should have picked up that my house is 470 feet from the tap and would need TX 15 line to make sure that Digital Phone, HSI and Digital cable would work well. The install contractor did everything possible to make SURE I had phone service and useable cable and HSI before he left. Since he had to use standard cable instead of TX 15 he didn't hook up 2 of the 4 jacks. TWC didn't follow through on the install of the TX 15. They did send a contractor to bury the cable from the last pole to the demarc and that cancelled the rest of the work order. I did, however, call back a few days later and a very friendly and helpful CSR ( and they are ALL that good) put the work order back in and the install was complete.
I can't tell you how nice it is to have good cable for a change. Charter was all fuzzy and snowy on a majority of the analog channels (below 100). I don't know this for a fact but I suspect that we are getting all channels in digital simulcast here.
I pay $170 for digital phone, HSI, DVR, digital cable with all premiums!
