Ordered a Business Class 7mb x 1mb connection, but was only getting 768k on the upstream. Found problems with the .bin file for that service class. Promptly set me at a 8mb x 2mb connection for the same cost as the 7mb x 1mb service.
No problems with the install process. In the last six years I have had two situations where my service was severely degraded. The first time resulted in replacing the drop to my house.
The second time, a couple of years later, They replaced the tap in my back yard which helped but did not resolve the problem. Line techs had to replace some hub equipment to completely resolve the issue. It took two weeks to clear, but not because of a lack of effort on TWC.
Use a VOIP service (VoicePulse) and is supported very well with my RoadRunner connection.
1/2008 - RoadRunner has be very stable for VOIP. MY connections were updated to a 15mb x 2mb connection and has been extremely stable. We also added a Windstream DSL connection (3mb x 384) as a backup (qill have to create a separate rating fot them.. The dual connections are controlled via a dlink DI-LB604 for dual wan balancing. I am currently sending thy VOIP traffc over Windstream.and route all my compuer traffiv via the RoadRunner Connetions.
