I used to have phone, digital cable and internet with Time Warner, but due a decrease in income, I dropped phone and digital cable and lowered my tier from the then $44.95/mo. standard tier (6mbit down and 384kbits up) to the lite tier at $24.95/mo. (768kbits down (or was it 384kbits?) and 128kbits up). Needless to say, my roommate and I had nothing but issues with the lite tier, so I phoned up Time Warner's retention department and went back onto the standard tier, but at a cost of $29.95/mo. for six months.
Time warner has since increased the speed from 6mbits down to 7mbits down.
Over the week or so, the speed has occasionally been stuck at 3mbits down, but I do not have an issue with that for the time being. Hopefully it will be resolved within a week or so, but if not, then I will be contacting Time Warner.
