My only other option was SBC/Yahoo DSL, about 1/4th the speed at a lower price; as we all know the internet is all about speed. TW and RR could be more competitive in ALL markets, and stop being market specific. Like in Kansas City, normal speeds are 8/512 .. Turbo speed is 10/1; while in neighboring markets, the standard speed is 10/1 and Turbo is 15/2. Phone tech support is the absolute worst. Continuing to have customers redo their settings, reboot modems/routers and what-not. If it worked last night, and nothing at customer has changed, then it is the ISP! Network status, I feel, should be real-time and include specific information. Messages like "Road Runner will be conducting Planned Maintenance on the IP network." and that's for almost every situation ... Fix it and LEAVE IT ALONE!
Bottom Line: I like my service and connection, I have all options - CATV, Phone and Internet with them. I personally like it, but it could be alot better.
