I recently moved in with my girlfriend, from Lenexa to Kansas City, KS. Her neighborhood is only serviced by Time Warner, so she had their service before meeting me.
When I moved in, I bumped up to the 10/1 turbo premium internet access from the standard package. This has overall worked out very well, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that recently they bumped the turbo folks up to 15/1.
The equipment is an Arris VOIP docsis 1.1 cablemodem, and it appears to work well except that telephony sometimes goes out for no reason while the other services still work.
The only bad thing I can say about this RR service is that they're applying packet shaping to everyone, including the turbo users who pay extra for the faster service, which makes absolutely no sense. This sometimes makes primetime downloading crawl at below-standard speeds, which is unacceptable.
