This is Time-Warner's "All the Best" package (TV - 1 HD-DVR and 1 "digital" box; 6M/512k Roadrunner and 1 phone line). I ordered on 12/20 and had TV and internet access set up the following week. The installers were typical: a pair of boyz from the hood in a clapped out pickup that knew how to plug in boxes and terminate cable but little else. If I didn't know how this stuff works then I would not have service to this day. I suspect a lot of truck rolls are caused by these casual sub-contractors...

Anyway, I had to call to get my modem registered and again to get my HD DVR registered (it talks via DOCSIS). Everything been working well for the past few days now in spite of a low signal condition caused by what looks like a bad feeder cable to my house. We'll see how TW handles that replacement. For now I put a two-way amp at the POE and it seems to be stable.

I'm still waiting for the phone service to be installed. I'll update this review after that happens.

UPDATE 1/11/08: Techs came by and replaced the RCA modem with an Arris TM502 gateway for VoIP and general IP. In 10 minutes I had phone service. Voice quality is very good. My drop has been replaced and I don't have the amp in-line anymore.
