I've been with Roadrunner since it was first offered in my area 5-6 years ago. It's the fastest and cheapest isp in my area.
Good: Basically a very good service hardly ever goes down. Price: for $70.00 for extreme roadrunner (20mbs/1mbs) that's much less than what I pay for adsl2+ @ 15/1 speed ($130) unlimited Usenet server
Bad: Retention on Usenet server (2-3 days) Dynamic ip only, no static ips Can't do BitTorrent on roadrunner, it's either blocked or very slow speeds. The past 3 weeks , it seems they cut my speed from 20mbs/ 1mbs to 6mbs/120kbs during the evening hours.
Conclusion: If Fios ever came to my area, I would jump at it. I would most likely keep roadrunner but downgrade to standard roadrunner. Roadrunner has been stable and reliable for me since the very beginning. Unless they start metering bandwidth, I doubt I'll leave them.
