We have the turbo package( 8-512) for $49.99 a month. We've been checking on DSL but we live a good distance from the CO, it's hard to get decent speeds except through business accounts. We were given an Arris TM502G model modem.
My wife needs a static IP so that she may work at home. We contacted TWC about just that, a ststic IP. The rep told her that TWC offered a static with residential service(yeah right). Of course, I knew better as I've had RR for years. We then contacted Business Class, and were told we'd have to wait a minimum of 46 days. Not to mention the price is outrages for data & phone. Especially, since the speeds offered, residential & business are quite less than desirable!! However, I can't complain about the reliability of the service considering we've had RR for 5 years with a total up-time around 90%......I just wish they'd get with the program and bump up their offered speeds!!
