We got a great deal from TWC as we are former DirecTV customers. We moved in to a apartment complex that does not allow satellite dishes. $99.99 gets us all three services for a year with the fastest Road Runner package available in this area. The price goes up $10 next year, and a additional $10 the following year. Plus we got a $200 rebate check once we sent in our last DirecTV bill.
Coming from an area serviced by Optimum Online, I am very disappointed with the upload side of things. RR is capped at 512k up, where OOL was 2meg up. On top of that, an area outage has occurred (lasting a few hours) every 10-14 days or so since starting service 3 months ago. The automated tech support system makes you jump through hoops before actually being able to talk to someone to trouble shoot other issues. The website is overly broad when it comes to actually describing what is offered and I actually had to call in to clarify a couple of points that could have easily been conveyed online.
Next time we move, it will be back into a OOL serviced area.
