I had their service for almost 1 year now and they are OK. They could be better with their customer service. I can able to get hold to the sales folks in no time, however getting the Tech Support is bit tedious.
The can also be better with the offers. Newbies get good offers, and there aren't much for renewing (after the contract terms). Some of my friends disconnect the service and reconnect as a new connection to take advantage of the contract. Road Runner say they are OK with it, but will never give offer for existing customers..huh.
When every body sucks internet during evening, then it's goes terribly slow. I have a 8Mbps, during day time bandwidth check from DSL reports would give me 5-6Mbps, which is good for me. But during nights, it's drops to 2Mbps (with direct connection to modem, no routers).
Bottom line, they are better then other service providers in the Raleigh region. I have heard horror stories from other ISP's through my friends. Perhaps, I will stick to Road Runner.
