Service is horrible. Internet constantly drops out and modem restarts. Video is choppy and audio drops out. Zero value for the outrageous amounts that TW charges.

So my service has improved slightly however it took an email to one of the head honchos in NY who contacted the VP of Engineering. I just wish it didn't have to come to that. I will be dropping TW as soon as FIOS is available.

You must be a TW technician. If not, use your brain before you post. Thanks.

My computer, I think not. I've checked speeds on 4-5 different computers.....and guess what.....NO CHANGE.

    Overall TW Internet service

If I had the choice, DSL is what I would have again. With all it's "not as good as" reports compared to cable, at least it was up ALL THE TIME. I've gone through 3 modems, countless tech calls, and four visits by "techs". Now there's been a major outage that lasted over 24 hours. All this in less than 1 year. I think what really makes me crazy is the never ending "press this for that..." when I call.

    Overloaded node?

you could very well be on an overloaded node and maybe your modem is outdated? I have been a RR subscriber since late 2002 back when it was just 2mbits down here in texas and I have never had any problems of sort like what you mention having.

I know someone at the hospital I work at that lives on the outside of town and the only decent internet available to their trailer park is road runner from time warner since its a tad too far for DSL and everyone out there gets cruddy speeds because that node is overloaded.

    Re: Overloaded node?

Well, with one of my conversations with internal tech support, my node is not overloaded but overused. Here in Flushing, NY a lot of people are torrenting ALL day long. I'm just waiting for FIOS because I don't think anything TW does will improve the situation, not even with DOCSIS 3.
