My entire eleven year broadband experience has been with DSL- first with Verizon (through Earthlink) then with AT&T. Reliability was great. The speed was not, until about three years ago when I was able to get AT&T's 6Mbs service. Then I reached a point where I wanted to get rid of my phone line and wanted to receive possibly a faster service.
It took about a week to get installed. The installer was on time and it was completed quickly. It's been a month now a everything has been mostly good. I consistently get 20/2 service with no major slowdowns no matter the time of day. That was one of the things I was worried about, but it has been no problem. Tech support has been mixed, but overall I am satisfied. The downside has been the Ubee router they provided. It's locked by password for significant changes. You have to call to get the wireless function disabled or to get into bridged mode to use your own router.
