Brighthouse networks - I have been a member with then since the beginning phases of their implementation process for cable modems. I have had not much problems with them since, When they implemented RoadRunner Lightning, I was one of the first customers to jump on that and the Bandwidth is solid, sometimes it will drop, but my major issue is the latency to their backbone and their techs that come on site only replace the modems and run lines from the pole to the house. Which is very discourging because sometimes the issues are further down the line and they techs do not care they just want to install the new modem run a new line and go on to the next job. But they will provide you with new equipment if requested and free of charge and they usually have pretty fast tech support for onsite support.
BHNtechXpert is a great tech he will go as far as to personally call you and reassure the customer that they are working on a solution.

Update Well I got a new modem today - The techs that came on site sucked, like i previously said they just install a new modem and onto the next. But I called back, got ahold of a good tech who actually cared, sent him the the screenshots, previously, and after the new modem was installed. He actually stayed on the line for about a hr trying to troubleshoot this with me, he went above and beyond his job to research how to contact who to contact to figure out why the latency is so high. Then we went on to troubleshoot that a transformer could be emitting a EMP field that could cause interference with the lines, so he scheduled RF Tech to come out and check the pole, then if all else fails he said that NOC techs usually dont come onsite but they could put a ticket in which was encouraging. They did replace the SMC modem with a surfboard... so the BW no longer throttles. And Jamil, the tech on the phone forwarded the proper screenshots to the NOC for further research. I explained to him that its just not inbound but also outbound a packet must travel to the host and the host must send back the packet.
Overall im pleased with half of the techs the other half seem like they just want to drop off a modem n onto the next. I have wiresharked it up to monitor traffic and looking glass servers to try to find the the inbound routes as best as possible.
So all in all I am happy with the customer service that jamil provided, unhappy with the onsite techs that came to visit they really should do their job. Instead of just plugging in a machine saying ok ur good heres a new modem...I will await for the RF Tech to see what the outcome is.
