Updating my ~6yr old review of Optimum online/cable/voice.
Network speeds are snappy, latency is low. Customer service has always been friendly and responsive. Techs are knowledgable where it counts but lack skills with regard to systems and networking.
Upgraded Boost to Ultra 101 the moment it became available. Steep initial installation fee (no longer required) was off-putting but worth it. My initial Ultra install used a DOCSIS3 capable modem from Cisco that has been replaced with an Arris model. Still no voice service from the DOCSIS3 modem as supplied by CV.
Would love to see symmetrical connection options as well as speed tiers above Ultra 101.
