I have waited for a while to write a review for several reasons, one is that I have moved a bit, but after 6 months of having Comcast I would have to say I am pleased. It is up whenever I need it and the speeds are good. About 1300/100, so I can't complain. Sometime it will drop during peak times but for the most part it stays around that mark. I think the tech support could use some help, I have no problem with them they just dont seem to want to help that much, they always seem to push a tech to come out more than trying to listen what you have to say. They seem to think noone has computer knowledge but them. I have not had to call that many times but when I did I got nowhere. Good thing for BBR, they always help. The e-mail works when it wants to, I dont use it that much, its more my "professional" e-mail and I have others for fun, but my wife uses her comcast all the time and at least 3 times a week I hear "My mail is down".

Overall, the pros more than outweigh the cons and I am very happy with my service on the whole. 45 bucks a month is not great, but its not that bad either. I have other choices but I had DSL and I would never go back to that nightmare. Comcast is a good choice in this area for reliability.

    Update 11-18-03:

Still going smooth, upload has since been increased and downtime is minimal. 3mb upgrade in the works as well, will update when they comes in. Still very pleased with the service in the area and the e-mail is more stable these days as well.

    Update 6-28-04:

The 3mb upgrade went in fine and the e-mail issues seems to be stable now. I am very pleased with the service these day!

    Update 1-29-05

The 4mb kicked in as scheduled and I could not be happier, almost 4000/360 and the previous email problems are a thing of the past. No complaints here!

    Update 10-4-05

The 6mb is now active in my area, smooth sailing! Happy Comcast Camper here!

    Update 10-8-2006

Love the new Speed Burst, Email issues are a thing of a past. Wish cost was lower but solid service.

    Update 11-20-2007

Another good year, there were some issues with connecting to certain sites that Comcast refused to see as a problem they had (even though over 50+ people here and at the Comcast Forum had the same thing), but it resoved itself eventually. Still wish the price was lower and the support was better when you have a real issue, but still the best in my area for what I need.
