150 mbps down with 150 hd channels $250 for 6 boxes and all premiums They should have a cheaper plan that includes home security

Speeds are great if you don't run into any problems. HD service is excellent, lack of some channels (fox sports ohio and sports time ohio) is disappointing.
Too expensive. $250 for triple play platinum and 6 boxes is rediculous.

Broadband in WeirtonI'm just happy that the Weirton area has broadband available. I have family there that was anxiously waiting for @home (before it went belly up). I know that the area doesn't have DSL available yet and may take some time as the CO's there would all need upgraded to support DSL. I will also say that half the speed was a surprise to many in the area that were getting much more in the down area. At least comcast offers a little better in the upload area.

yea I agreeyea i agree, I am in Oregon. Every time the connection goes down, comcast will tell me there is nothing wrong on their side, and want to send a tech to my house check stuff and charge me $$$. They claims I can get 4mb speed, but real speed is always 3mb or less. Now they are going to add $2 to my rate in 2009 and make me subscribe to the 6mb package. Why would I want to get the 6mb package when my real speed cant get over 3mb ?
