Originally signed up with ATT Broadband, then they sold to Comcast. I have had both Ameritech/SBC and Telocity/DirectTV DSL service prior to Cable. Cable is much better, no PPPOE, 4X speed, connection almost never drops. New speed of 3000/256.
My only beef with all broadband offerings I have had is that NONE of them should be asymetrical. The up and down speeds should be equal and set to the maximum that the media will allow.
Well Comcast did double the upload speed, so that is good. Current speed is 8/2 and with PowerBoost I get significantly faster downloads.
Now they need to bring the price down by about 50%.
