I switched from MSN/QWEST to Comcast about 2 months ago and have been very pleasantly surprised. Everything they promised was given.
Speeds are great, pings are great. 1700/300 - 16 ms to UT servers in the western US.
Customer service is most excellent, especially if they feel you know what you are doing. A level of trust unseen by me so far.
Im using the newer Thompson RCA Cable Modem....blinks alot, LOL but runs cool and is stable.
Need I say more?

Update: November 2006, Speeds are awesome 5000/500 However.......and I am sure everyone is having the same problem, the constant barrage of ports scans toward ports 1025-1029 etc; The badside of having a high speed connection.
