Comcast has proven to be the best ISP I've had since my original 14.4Kbps dial-up. Haven't had any problems at all with downtime. Best ISP in my opinion. Tech support has always been fantastic for any questions I have had.
And 4 years later, it's still performing the same way. Tech support continues to provide excellent service. I've found that approaching them in a civil tone goes very far in getting things done. I haven't had any problem with the basic function of the service. There was one day there was a drop and I called them immediately and questioned them about it and I must have been the first one to call because they hadn't even been informed yet of the outage. But the kept me on the line until they did get the word and were very appreciative for me having informed them.
I think I get an exceptional value for my money.
And here we are in 2008 and I'm just as happy with Comcast as the day I hooked them up. Outages are almost non-existent in my area, and I think I have had one major outage in the past 3 or 4 years and Comcast responded remarkably to my phone inquiries and before the day was over, I had a new modem delivered and installed. You can't get better service than that. Comcast, keep up the good work. You get a gold star from me.
