ordered standard non commercial, 1.5 mb down... they went up to 3 mb down for no extra price. Always will be dynamic IP, don't think Comcast has static IP's. Same standard rate, I pay less than 60 bucks for internet, modem rental and cable TV. The only bad thing I can think of is a long delay on install time, then again they had to lay a new cable under a couple of driveways and of course wait for the utilities to mark the ground.
Bottom line, good company and good connection.
**UPDATE** November, 2007
Decided to cancel Comcast HSI after reading about the anti-P2P stance that the company has taken. I believe this has undermined the neutrality of the web, to actually disrupt legitimate packets going through their network... not just slow down the connection. Thankfully there is plenty of competition in my area, and therefor, chose FiOS.
