Comcast no longer continues to be the leader in service and quality. I ditched CHSI and their Digital cable.
I have had cable since it was first installed on my block back in 1978. I have seen it transition from a wired 36 channel controller to a wireless hundreds of channels STB with VOD and dual tuner DVR. But then Verizon came along and showed how lacking Comcast is.
Yes the price has gone from twenty dollars a month to well over one hundred. But, the services offered have gone up as well. Unfortunately they are overpriced and a better deal can be had if competition is in your area.
Comcast stopped investing in their system and it shows. Verizon has surpassed them with a 100% fiber network and their equipment is new and top of the line.
For 20 years I have had cable and I have been part of its evolution. Now I have left Comcast them since they have no idea what the customer wants.
