    I called and canceled my HSI service with Comcast today. I finally got my DSL. Comcast was good and fast and I never had any issues. They just charge to much. If you do not have their cable tv service Comcast charges you an additional $15.00 per month.
    (I have DISH). So with DSL I will be saving about $35.00 a month.
    And the speed is fast, if not as fast as Comcast.

    ***Update*** 11/12/06
    Called again to cancel service and Comcast gave me another 4 months at $37.99.
    No issues with speed or down time.

    I got the speed upgrade, 4mb/384. No problems with service and connection. My promo expired so when I called to cancel comcast gave me $10.00 off my monthly charge. So I thank comcast for that. Still costs a lot more then DSL.

    Have not had any issues with service going down. Been on line since last week. Wish up load was faster then 256 but I hear it will be going up to 384. Also download going up to 4mb.
