"New Speed Upgrade to 10,000/1500 Reliable Service, Good Support When not dealing with sub contractors"
"Moving service to new home was a night mare. Sub Contractors awful. After 15 days and 3 service calls to house service was on."
"Best value for High Speed Internet. The phone, and TV cable service is over priced. Overall I'd give them a 7 out of 10."

I forgot to edit this review when I had our service transffered to our new home back in January 07, and we upgraded to the triple play they offered for a year. It was hell, and If I had to do it all over again I would have just closed my previous account, and signed up as a new customer using my girl friends name for the new account. I now know that here in Seattle they use Subcontractors on new service hook ups even on service transfers, and that sub contractors here in seattle are a far cry from being as well trained as the Comcast employed service Techs, or as concerned about providing good service. It took us 15 days and 3 service calls until we finally got the original order we made for our upgraded transfer of service to be completed. It was the Comcast employed Techs who got everything done correctly, and I think Comcast would be better served if they just used there people for all of their service calls. We had to upgrade our service to the triple play Comcast offers for the decieving price of $99.00 a month for 12 months. The real price after all taxes and extra fees are added uphere in Seattle is $112.00 a month. The High Speed Internet has improved it's service a lot over the past 18 months, and it's the best value for the buck here in Seattle. The Phone service is over priced, and not as reliable as claimed, and if I didn't have a cell phone as back up I would probably not have kept the service, or at least switched to Vonage for 9 bucks less a month. The service over all is a 6.8 to 7 out of 10.

I just recently discovered that someone is using my e-mail address to mail spam out, and I haven't gotten a real good response from Comcast yet about this. The auto responder, and chat software they use to qualify your issue is crap, and I resent having to send out about 4 e-mails until I get a real person to respond, and trying to reach support by phone is sometimes a real bitch, and at others it's no problem. My biggest complaint would have to be consistancy of customer support service. It needs to be improved, and the price for the Phone service should come down. My biggest compliment would be Comcast service Techs when they are called out are great, and the High Speed Internet service is awesome in my opinion. The upgrade in the modem from an RCA to a ARISS was also excellent, and has performed with out a hitch.

Spammers sending out with your address

Just wanted to throw in one thing: There is nothing your network provider can do about spammers sending out spam as if it were from you. Think about it - you can configure your email application to send mail out as anyone, as if from any address. That's a weakness in the way email was architected in the olden days. No ISP can do anything about that.
