    I can not state the fact that comcast sucks enough. Ill say when it worked, it was ok. Just the" when it worked part"..... I had signed up for AT&T( yuch) cable tv,internet and phone for $99/month.1 month later comcast bought them out. Right off the bat my bill went up almost $70. About a month later my phone went out. No help from them. All they would say is its my lines. I replaced my lines and the problem was still there. All the time they still wanted payed for the phone.I payed the bastards for the phone service I didnt have,(just to keep my internet and tv),got it disconnected and went on.My internet was always sketchy.I called their support to get the same "its my problem story" NO HELP. I finally got a tech out to replace my modem and then NO INTERNET AT ALL! He left before I got home so I wasnt able to be there when this happened. Once again NO HELP from their joke support . I tried everything but nothing. It was my problem again. All the time comcast wanted payed for this. Then my cable went out for 3 weeks and all they offered me was a $6 refund.Why? Because when they disconnected my phone they left a piece of their equipment in my box and shut my cable off till they got it back. Why didnt their tech get it when he was out here? Its not my fault that they left their "stuff " that I had NO idea was there ,in my phone box. At that point , I realized just what a nightmare I was in with them. I called and told them to get their garbage out of my house.Their tech came and picked the cable modem and converter up. 2 weeks later they sent me a bill for $80 for the boxes. After an IRATE phone call to them it was over. THE COMCAST NIGHTMARE WAS OVER!!!!. I have Atlantic Nexus for DSL and have never been happier. COMCAST SUCKS!!!!!Do everything you can to stay away from them!

    comcast's lousy business practice

    Same issue with Comcast, when they hooked up my phone box the tech told me it was mine and I can do whatever I want with it when my service is ended. The service was such a rip-off that I disconnected after a year, and told them to do what they had to do to get it out of my house. They came, picked up the modem but made no mention of the phone box. So I tossed it in the trash (its just a simple circuit board and converter, probably cost about $15 to make) anyway, they sent me a BILL FOR $500 because I didn't return the box!!! I called customer service and was told I didn't need to pay the bill, just throw the bill away. This happened 3 MORE TIMES and finally they sent it to a COLLECTION agency!!! The moral of the story is this: it does not matter what Comcast says to you, it only matters that they are losing more customers to Verizon every day than they are replacing. So they will do ANYTHING to get your money, and if they can't, they will ruin your credit.
    Comcast should be ashamed of its business practice.

    You people really just don't know how to deal with a telecom company. I mean first of all, if you were not getting the support you needed, then call a field supervisor. Also, you think you can just throw out some company's equipment and not be charged? I agree they overcharged you but I'm pretty sure you should have thought twice before you threw it out.
