    I've had 8 visits from techs (if you want to call them that) in the last 3 months and each time they leave without repairing my slow speeds (paying for 6000/384 but am getting 1300/900). Everything has been replaced including modem and drop with no results. Used to get full speed and one day it just dropped off to a trickle. It really pisses me off that they know my problem isn't fixed, yet they never follow up or send any line techs out to look for a problem in my neighborhood.

    Also, I owned my modem (SB4200). One of the techs that came over replaced it with a new SB5120 and took MY modem (I wasn't home when they came, just my wife). Now I'm getting charged a modem rental fee and lost the modem that I paid for.....

    Finally got my problems fixed. Turns out Comcast gave me a bad modem and I was getting too much signal (10db according to the tech). One of the many techs that was at my house made the mistake of mentioning the name of the regional manager. I looked up his name and gave him a call He sent his "special projects person" over and he fixed in 30 minutes what the previous 10 techs couldn't.
